Groove Satellite will donate $50 to the Utah Food Bank when
anyone signs up for new satellite television package with Groove
Satellite during the month of November. That's enough to feed a
family of four for five days. What's more, with each new sign
up Groove staff members will donate two hours of service to the
Utah Food Bank! 

SALT LAKE CITY---Throughout November when you sign up with any new satellite television package with Groove Satellite the company will make a $50 cash donation to the Utah Food Bank. What’s more, Groove staff members are matching the company’s donation with 2 hours of volunteer service at the Utah Food Bank per signup.

Called ‘Buy One, Help One,’ each $50 donation can feed a family of four for 5 days due the efficiencies of the Utah Food Bank’s operations.

“This has been a tough year for so many people,” says Lance Platt, CFO of Groove Satellite. But in this Thanksgiving Season we still have so much to be grateful for. To express our gratitude to the community for the business they’ve given us… and to aid those having a tough time right now… helping out the Utah Food Bank in this way is the right thing to do. And we challenge all our competitors to do the same.”

With the volunteer effort added to the cash donation, Groove’s campaign is one up on the typical ‘buy one, give one’ offers you see elsewhere.

“The community has really stepped up,” says Jessica Pugh, the Utah Food Bank’s public relations specialist. “But the need this year is so great. So we’re especially grateful to Groove its customers and its employees for this wonderfully generous donation of money and time.”
