to help women start a business or grow an exisiting business.

Salt Lake City, Utah - As more and more women venture out to start a business (especially in these economic times) it becomes imperative that a support system, education and networking are made available to ensure success. Enter Startup Princess. This is an organization that provides education, connections and resources for women entrepreneurs all across the county.

Founded in 2006 by Kelly King Anderson, Startup Princess has grown to support thousands of women business owners through online content, newsletters and especially live events. Now, three years later there are 2,000 members online and a community of over 9,000.

Startup Princess is pleased to announce the Third Annual Touchpoint - The Annual Conference for Women Entrepreneurs. This day-long event is the largest event sponsored by Startup Princess annually.“Touchpoint is a unique event that not only provides education for starting and growing a business, but it provides connections for women to support each other as they walk (sometimes run) the course of business ownership.”

Touchpoint, presented by Bank of American Fork, will be held at Noah’s in South Jordan, Utah on Friday, September 11th. This event goes from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Startup Princess continues to bring in top talent and we are pleased to announce our keynote speakers for Touchpoint 2009. Our keynote speakers are Heather Bailey, from Arizona, founder of Heather Bailey Designs, Amy Rees Anderson, CEO and founder of Utah based Mediconnect, and Janice Croze, co-founder of 5minutesformom.com from Vancouver, Canada. These women not only exemplify what it takes to run a successful business in tough times, but they are everyday women balancing the other demands of motherhood, marriage and life.

In addition to powerful keynote speakers, there will be breakout sessions designed to provide value for women in varying stages of business ownership. Courses include Discovering and Living Your Life Purpose in Business, presented by Mrs. Utah United States Karmel Larsen, Developing Products that Sell, The Power of Negotiation, The Phases of Funding and more. In addition to the breakout sessions there will be a Media Panel Discussion helping attendees learn what the media wants to hear.

Startup Princess is also sponsorsing a Video Marketing Competition in conjunction with the event.  The top 5 winners will receive free admission tickets and the Grand Prize winner will receive a Flip Camera and other great prizes.
